Re: Post Your Setup

This is my 2/4 drop. I have Sprintech 2" drop spindles and Springtech 2" front leaf brackets and Bell tech 2" rear spring lowering shackles. Its 29 1/4" front ground to fender and 30 3/4 at the rear. It does have alot of rake, I thought it should have been level. It almost looks like a 3" drop on the front. Running 275/60 r 15's at this posting but because of clearance problems I am installing 245's today on the front. Rebuilt 5.0 litre, stock, new trans, last week, fresh paint, LineX, Extang full tilt, 85 Sub 8" rallies, roll pan, flowmasters with Magnaflow tips, Drop kit with Belltech twin tubes all around, Pioneer CD, 8 speakers, 2 10" subs and an additionsl 200 watt amp. Good grocery getter!

Re: Post Your Setup

Heres my 94 C1500 "Work Truck". Its bagged with 2" spindles & tubular control arms up front. Out back is a 5 link that I made with a 11" bridge, I originally set it up to run 20s & 24s. I'm running 15X6" Vette Rally wheels with 3.5 " back spacing on 205/65-15 tires up front & 15X8" Vette Rally wheels with 5" back spacing on 255/70-15 tires in the rear. Its a daily driver/shop truck so I'll be running the 15s for a while.

nice truck 1badws6!!! I've been wanting to see a 3/4 or 3/5 with 265-40-22s. I've been thinking about raising my truck to a 3/5 and changing tires to 265-40-22. I'm really getting sick of the $hitty ride I get with the 265-35-22s. 4/6 with 265-40-22s might be pushing it abit.

Re: Post Your Setup

Hey I am a noob to this site but not to chevys!!

I have an 89 fullsize chevy shortbed single cab,

The Exterior-

Shaved everything- door and tailgate handles, gas door, tail lights, 3rd brake light, stake holes, trim holes, emblems, antenna hole.

Relocated- tailgate handle inside bed "cause whats a truck without a tailgate?"

Relocated- gas door into the bedfloor molding in the original gas door "its cool!"

Bolt-ons- 98 front end conversion, chrome grill, diamond lights, 60" led brake light and turn signal combo in rear, sir michaels rollpan in rear, street scene mirrors but not for long, dented up bumper in front but not for long.

Suspension-Monster notch, Pete & Jakes 2 link, 4 Slam Hs72's, 8 GC Extreme 250 1/2" valves, 2 Viair 450's and 1 5 gallon tank all bolted to custom made mounts underneath the bed, relocated the gas tank with new crossmember wich is all one unit with the removable rack that the compressors and tank mount to for easy in and out for servicing.

Wheels & Tires- it rolls on 22" Alba Flex's wrapped in Nitto 420S rubber

Interior- custom upholstered seat and the rest is clean but undergoing a facelift.

Engine- A cute lil 4.3 vortech v6 great gas mileage.

I was going to steal your gas door and match from that, but instead I went with '71 Ford Grabber Blue (code J), and then just a twinge more "umph" to the blue... gave the mixer the lid off a can of Krylon (I believe it's called "Globe Blue")...

Re: Post Your Setup

it's a spare coolant oveflow reservour and a windshield washer pump mounted in the bed. the nozzle is on the inside side of the bed panel in the gap between the tailight lens and the tailgate... Why? for fun, squirt friends on the road, tailgaters, convertables...... my girlfriend likes to get me whenever I walk behind the truck...
