Re: Post Your Setup
Hello.
Just a easy question. How big is the difference between Heavy Duty truck’s and normal truck’s in height.
Thanks.

Re: Post Your Setup
I am new to this sight and have a question;
Is it possible to simply remove the overload spring from my '98 Sportside rear suspension to lower the rear of the truick ~1"?
I have already installed a set of Belltech lowering shackles and cannot go lower due to the rear shackle mount being about 1/4" from hitting the bottom of the bed (sportside style not fleetside).
I have not lowered the front and prefer not to be too low. The truck is drag raced (1/4 mile) and I do not want to sacrifice strength/durability in the suspension. Main use is street however (drag race ~2-3 times per year at the strip).

Re: Post Your Setup
-1999
-Chevy
-Silverado ECSB
-2wd
-275/45/20
-20x8 +18
-4/6 drop 2" McGaghys 17+ spindles, 1 coil cut off stock springs for 4" drop total in front, McGaghys 6" flip kit
-rolled rear fenders, "mini-tubbed" and rolled front fenders
the 275/45/20 is 29.7" tall and is rubs on larger bumps in the front, I am going to try a 255/45/20 which is 29" tall and supposed to solve the rubbing issue.
