2/4 drop nbs
Well i getting my truck(99 nbs extended cab, short box 2wd) painted and color matched the handles, mirrors, part of the grille, and the front piece on then bumper. And i'm thinking dropping it a bit for look but keeping the functionality. So im thinking 2/4 drop. But i want to keep my stock 16" chrome rims. So im wondering what tire size to run? 245/75 or 225/75.

Also it would be nice if anybody has a picture close to this set up.

Re: 2/4 drop nbs
where did you find the 2/4 drop kit? and how hard is it to install by yourself i.e. in my yard...

also, how bad will my 305/22's be rubbing ? maybe i should just go with the 2" rear drop in the rear

Re: 2/4 drop nbs
if you want to keep the truck functional you might want to get a c notch for the rear. with a shackle and hanger kit mine bottomed out over every little bump i hit. forget towing anything without notching it.

Re: 2/4 drop nbs
Mcgaughy 16"+ 2" drop spindle for the front or 2" drop coils.

Mcgaughy hangers and shackles for the rear for the 4". They make a very solid product.

In my pic above I had 2" drop coils up front and stock shocks. It rode fine and no rubbing. You will need a c-notch imo. I hated my ride with no notch.
