awesome info!!!!!!!!

continuously running for one hour and up to 243 degrees.. really not that bad..
was doin some research on some tranny oil coolers today and found one with fitting ends and handles 300psi working pressure.. thinking of running my york directly to it in front of the a/c condenser next to a actual used tranny cooler and then to my filter , press switch, and check valve. cooler shouldn't be too much $. for now i jsut ran 10ft of hydro hose out of the york, up front acrosse the a/c conenser and then back to the filter (behind my pass headlight where battery usually is.. need more time to finish..

Re: The York Thread.
just so people know, if you want the one with the unloader (for york setups), dont get it from suicide doors, there are differencesand they dont sell the one with.. here is a link to one that will work.. may be able to order it locally,
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg...mId=1611760706

i got my custom setup going and fills my 12 gallon tank FAST 0-200 psi in like a minute!!!! but doesnt have the unloader to blow off pressure from the head of the york.. just going to have to buy this one i guess

my setup
York210/to 10ft 250 degree hydro hose/to SMC filter/to T (out to press switch)/ then to check valve and out to the tank...

i havnt ever installed a kit but it would be nice not to have to sit and spend a spend a day figuring out parts, running around getting parts, and fabbing up brackets.. then testing everything... i would go with a litle higher pressure though.. im running my custom york 210 setup at 200psi and its good as i know several others do as well. would need a higher pressure BOV, i got a 250 psi one.. Larry at innovative carries them.

i havnt ever used one with the kit so i really dont know but i think are are guys on here doin it.. try to contact the actual maker of the kit and ask???

i will be selling my square D switch i got from suicide cause it doesnt have the unloader. i dont think the EDC "kits" use them. i just want to do it..

Re: The York Thread.
What exactly does the "unloader" do? I have the square D from SSD.com. havent hooked it up yet tho, still building my frame.

The unloader style pressure switch shuts off the compressor at the determined psi, then "unloads" the pressure on the compressor.

Re: The York Thread.
One thing I did not see mentioned was an inlet filter. You can buy one of those pre made filters or do what I did.... run a hose from the inlet to the filtered side of the aircleaner. make sure its upstream of your MAF if you have one.
