Re: The York Thread.
Are there any specific steps to cleaning out a York 210 from the junkyard? How can you check if it's in good working condition? Would it be better to just buy a new one?

Re: The York Thread.
Sometimes its better to buy a used one because its cheaper and its already broken in. But if you do get a new one get a good brand. I believe kruznlow69 said that the 4seasons comps are really good.

I have been looking for something like that but all the ones I find just spit a little bit of oil at a time.

Re: The York Thread.
Just picked up a 210 off ebay. I'm going to slowly gather parts till I can install next summer.

I noticed that the brackets are extremely expensive, is there another resource?

Re: The York Thread.
Lookin to pick up a york 210 from the local parts house, but I am confused on which car to get it from because they have left and right hand suctions and flange or o-ring type heads.

How much of a difference in size and air is there between a 210 and 209? The 209 looks smaller and just over all a better looking unit.

Re: The York Thread.
For the EDC filters, if you having a hard time finding filters other than those little K&N knock-offs you can get a filter for a R/C with a nitro motor. They come in all sizes, colors and most are oilable foam that can be cleaned and re-oiled

PM me for couple different online sites or if you have a hobby shop local just drop by them.

Re: The York Thread.
Well my 209 came out to 100 with the compressor, cluth, side plate. All I did was buy about 1' of 1" plate and cut some brackets out of that and welded it all together.

Then some Water filters, check valve, leader hose and fittings.
So all together it was under 200.
