Maybe they'll end up making more orders in the future and maybe, just maybe, they'll be one of the lucky ones that never has a lick of trouble from them. The odds are that something will go wrong, and when they do, they'll be the next victim and will move on to better companies.

I'll admit that I was once a young newbie and was once entranced by their pretty ads. Luckily by the time I had the money to start buying, I had read enough about them and avoided them.

You say that maybe the original post needs updating just because they're still around after 6 years. It's not like they were the new company on the block when the thread was started in 2002. The company was in business probably 10-15 years before even the original post, doing their business the same way the entire time. Just because a company is in business for years and years and is profitable enough to remain in business, doesn't necessarily mean it's a GOOD business.
Well said Jason. I have to agree with you. I remember back 12 years ago. I was pricing the truck mods out of the mag. Good for me that I met guys that told me the truth about shAIM. I have never bought anythign from them and never well. I can't teel you how many times I have heard issues with that company.

Stay away if you can.

Re: Buyer tips.

i would like to add AR Superstore. i have no idea from the products, but their site is still up and running and this company is still recieving paypals for the orders. When you go to the site to order, it takes you straight to paypal to checkout, but this company is out of business!!. This happened to me, paypal did get my money back, so i dont think they even know there paypal is still open. So DONT order from AR SUPERSTORE, they are out of business!
