Droppin a 4wd...

So... I just got rid of my lifted Duramax and I now I need to lower the new ride. I have a 2005 Silverado Crew Cab 1500 4wd and use it for work (light hauling and light towing occasionally).
Has anybody done a 3/5 or a 4/6 with helper bags in the rear? It's gotta be really usable but still look better than all the stock trucks. I need opinions.
Help me out Chevybros!
