dragging rant and question
First the rant whoever the @sshole in orlando in a lime green obs dragging hitch balls. which one proceeded to hit my truck. if i ever see you again im going to make sure to **** on your hood and get as much cat piss as i can in the cab of your truck.

ill get pics of the carnage later. looks like ill need a bumper and oilpan

questions

anyone know the above truck?

what is the hardest material that you can drag (let the alloy number)

has anyone made a rig that will lower down to drag? like on a actuator?

i plan on doing this with a 1.5" thick 4" wide 48" long piece of something under the rear of the truck.
^^
that way i can lower that to the height of the frame and drag that instead of my bare frame.(i may just plate my frame with .75 inch tool steel

also for those of you who have been caught draggin what was the penalty (im in florida)

im curious if i was caught if i could say my solenoids failed and i lost my rear bags

Re: dragging rant and question
that sucks man about getting nailed with a ball, ive seen pics of trucks like you described

the lowering of a drag bar on a solenoid is a stupid idea,
penalties usually depend on the cop/state you are in, dangerous driving, below the srubline= unsafe vehicle, all that ****

if your caught be a man and admit it, pay your fine or w/e, comming up with some lame ass excuses not just makes you look bad but the whole scene.

i think i rather just plate the frame. make the bars alittle wider and then grind them to match the frame rails so you cant see a seem
on a down side my truck will sit .75 inchs higher?

im thinking about going with smaller body mounts which will lower the body like a 1"-1.5"

Re: dragging rant and question
SO what ! , I ruined a 2in ball.. I understand the risks of draggin anything . but the local fuzz did do a double take when I passed , maybe because I was driving with the front just high enuf to not hit control arm and the rear was downalmost to the ball. Nah ..

Both kind!

J/K. I guess gay was the wrong word, it's just not my thing. Seems kind of foolish and dangerous to me.

Of course, I do this , so who am I to talk.
