Re: Millermatic 210
I got the new millermatic 212 that replaces the 210. Nice welder. I think I ended up paying 1500 for it new and 1800 out the door with gas, wire, helmet,... from Norco.

2007 Silverado Classic, KP 6-link, KP watts link, Slam bags, Belltech Spindles, EDC, 10 gallons of air, 3/8" SMC valves, 1/2" DOT line, 22" Boss 315 +40 offset wrapped in 265/40/22

Never heard of hobart being a miller. Could be wrong but i'm pretty sure its 2 different companies.

i went to tractor supply yesterday but they only carry hobart, they have the iron man 210 for $1100 but for that much might as well spend the extra $300 and get a miller.just waitin on that tax return check!!!!!

Re: Millermatic 210
Miller makes Hobart. The main difference that I know of is that the Miller models have a rheostat for the settings, but Hobart's just have a set number of positions for it. There may be other differences though.

both owned by ITW, built in the same place. There are some differences. Miller is said to be a more "industrial" welder.

I used to have a hobart. Got a Miller 212 6 months ago, and I have no complaints.

1978 short wide - chopped, bagged, shaved.

Re: Millermatic 210
werd, miller makes hobart, most of the parts interchange and when you call the hobart techline they answer it miller.

and your right the main difference is the infinite adjustability of the miller, if I was using it everyday all day I could justify the price jump, but I'm not so it suits me fine
