Shocks on 87 r10

I need to replace the shocks. I would like to drop the truck in the future but not in the near future :-(

What shocks can I get NOW that will accomadate a drop later? I dont want to by all new shocks when I drop it later?

I am thinking of a 3/5 drop. Drop questions will come later:-)
