The new truck

Well here is the new truck. 1994 x-cab 1500 bagged and body-dropped.

Traded my 94 camaro z28 that had some issues. Truck has some issues (alot of the welds suck the wiring is a nightmare and the rear gas tank crossmember was a joke. most of all the LCA's scare me. all in all the truck was not ass represented at all but deals done and im dealing with it. SCARY THING IS I DROVE THIS TRUCK 400 MILES BACK HOME with the cross member like that. there was a slight chatter when accelerating but i thought it was the trans surging (what it felt like) but it was the driveshaft yoke chewing itself up when the axle rotated forward due to one of the wishbone bolts missing and the cross member being broke.

COMPLETE FRAME TO come from front bumper to rollpan a-arms and all. track width narrowed 3 inchs

Re: The new truck

honestly i would not drive that for a month..those control arms are going to break and you will end up wrecking and hurting yourself or someone else..find some new stock arms and buy some spindles..they are only 200 for the pair..

i really miss wrote that those arms will be going as soon as i can make it to the scrap yard. until then they will get reinforced with some angle iron in the transition.

i cant just not drive it this is my sole piece of transportation

the front arms made it 400 miles as you see in the pics (didnt know they were like that til i started tearing into the truck. so they will make it another 50 miles gusseted with angle iron till i get new arms and spindles

Man, You are very very lucky you got that thing to go 400 miles. That is some scary hack stuff you got there. You sure got a project on your hands.
