Re: 4x4 lowered / bagged owners check in.
what will be the best way to bag the front of my 01 tahoe? yank out 4wd and use shockwaves or keep 4wd and mount bag above upper control arm and new bracket? also curious if i need to remove the torsion bars when doing either or both of these options. i know the truck will not lay out b/c i have 24s with 305/35/24s on it. i have been trying to figure this out for ahile though and refuse to settle for a static drop.

put it above upper control arm.
depends on your 4wd, you have to mod the transferase I heard from few shops.

Re: 4x4 lowered / bagged owners check in.
Great Thread and nice rides. I have an 05 Tahoe 4x4 Regency Limited with about a 2 inch drop, but I want lower. I don't want to bag it though. I ran into a guy that had one that sat the way I want. He didn't speak english too well, but he did say it was 8 inches down. I don't think that was true, but it was pretty low. How low can I get mine lower without bags and leaving the 4x4 functional? I live in the Seattle area and would like to find a shop that can do this for me.

Re: 4x4 lowered / bagged owners check in.
If this question has already been answered please forgive me, looking to bag the rear of my 1992 fs blazer. Wondering how a simple over axle setup would work. Im just looking for something simple and easy to get the ass up and down a few more inches. Maybe interested in a bolt on setup if possible, I'm currently running a flip kit and small c notch with shock extenders. Thanks for any help !!

'00 z71 ecsb checking in here. 2/4 right now (keys, shackles, ! oem lift block, belltech shocks), need to get smaller tires, then install spindles and hangers. Rides great, no problems getting the alignment in spec.
Will post a pic soon.

Re: 4x4 lowered / bagged owners check in.
So far im only about a 2/2 drop with shackles on the rear. Im waiting to get the transmission finished up then run the belltech keys decranked and flip the rear along with my shackles and slap a c-notch in there and call it quits. Im gonna be runnin 22x9.5s with 38mm offset and 275/40R22 HOPING they will fit. Wheels and tires are very last.
I went from stock, to lifted, now to lowered :) its just cheaper that way haha.
