Opinions from lowered truck owners
I will have about 5" drop in front and 6" flip kit with c-notch in the rear. Wheels are Original GM Silverado SS 20x8.5 with +22 offset. Question is, what tires size would be better for a decent ride but also not rub? 265 45 20 or 275 45 20?? Thanks
Front is done already.

Thanks dude. I will post them as soon as I get done with it. It's not installing that's taking too long, is waiting on parts. I did the front today and waiting on shocks to come in tomorrow. Front has a 5" drop and the rear 6" flip kit stuff is coming from the manufacturer in 2 to 3 weeks. I still have to get tires so no rush.

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners
how old is that pic? that's a lot of accessories! I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 45 or 40. also depends on how much wheel gap your gonna have. you don't want super low profiles and still have a big gap.

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners
Those tires look too big. I'm going for different look and I'm dropped a lot more then you in that pic. Most I would do for my application is 275 45 20. Nothing bigger.
My truck will sit this low.

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners
Bottom line: The more sidewall you have the better your ride will be.

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners
Since you are a 4x4 the 5" drop in the front is going to equal out to a 3" drop on a 2wd. The 6" flip is based on a 2wd so that is like 8" to you. I'm betting your fenderwells are going to be like 30" off the ground, so you are going to need something even smaller like a 255/45/20.
I actually plan on dropping my 4x4 4/6 actual inches with spindles and keys and a remove the block and 4" flipkit for the rear, and running a 265/50/20 tire in the front 295/40/20 in the rear.

Re: Opinions from lowered truck owners
I want a little more sidewall so I guess 265 45 20 will do. It's the equivalent of a 265 35 22 and that's what guys would run with a 22.
