Re: 00 ecsb z71 lowering question??

You can get the 2500 keys for the front you can decrank more and be fine. The DJM lowers are really not the best thing as the ball joints are junk and the bushings are as well. Either go with McGaughys or Belltech spindles and keys for the front and flip or combination of removing block, shackles, and hangers for the rear. All depends on how low you want to take it. Check out the vendors here or on GMfullsize as there are guys extending some bass ass deals. NORCALLSS is one on here and he can hook you up with Belltech stuff like dirt cheap.

The spindles are actually the better way then the control arms. Id much rather install spindles then squeky control arms that need ball joints once a year

Re: 00 ecsb z71 lowering question??

To the best of my knowledge the belltechs and McGaughys do not do that on lowering spindles. They are very close if the same as factory spindles. At least I know McGaughys are. Its not going to push the wheel out 2" like some lifted spindles do.

BellTech spindles on '88-'98 trucks push the wheels out, but they're the only ones. I have never heard of anyone with a '99-'07 having this issue with them.
