I was going to go 2-4 but that is awesome looking. What size tires so i can get an idea of total height? What manufacturer and was there any fabbing on this drop or was it all bolt on?

I'm new at this site and came upon a great thread. I just finished lowering the front of my truck with 3" inch spindles and 1" coils from Belltech. My truck is sitting on 22" rims with 35 series tires. There is a 2" inch gap between my tire and the end of the fender. Is this what a 4" inch drop looks like or did I do something wron? I thought that with this drop I would be sitting at the edge of the tire. I've posted a pic for you to check out and advice.

i think its right but you are on 22's if on 20's it'd sit right along the tire
go lower with 2inch or 3 inch springs aor get 20's

Thanx for your opinion. I'm gonna go ahead and order the 3" drop springs. I think that im gonna end up baggin it because it still won't be low enough but will see.

gonna fore warn you baggin any 63-87 chevy you have to z your frame to lay in front do a search for those answers

Hey thanx it sounds like some work but im sure its gonna be a zik experience. I'm gonna have one of my boys help me on this one because im not much of a welder.

what does "z" your frame mean? i have heard the term but not sure of a description.

why do you have to z tha frame? why cant you just replace the crossmember? thats whats holding the truck up from "ridin rails"?

you can but the dropmember is like 1200 z'ings free if you know or have a sawzall and a welder
