not sure if you were wondering about mine... if so it was rubbing a little on the outside not the inside but it only would do it on big freeway bumps... so I put some of those cheap spring blocker things in solved the problem drive it everyday with no worries.
later

Re: Years with Drops
I have a 1981 C-1500 stepside that I am going to lower. I want it to sit level but lower. I am going to use shorter springs and a 2.5/3 spindle drop in front. What is the cheapest/best way to do the rear? If I use a 4" block do I have to use the shackle lowering device as well? what about lowering springs in the rear? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks go to Camnut and Texas MARK

you can't use blocks on the rear unless you install a flip kit.
i screwed up last time, the flip kit is a 6" drop, you'll need a shackle and hanger kit to drop your rear 4"

Re: Years with Drops
The McGaughy's stuff rides good. Much like stock. Stock shocks. The drop kit was $575 plus tax from a local wholesale shop in Houston.

Re: Years with Drops
2001 Tahoe with McGauhy's 2/3 drop. 305/50/20 Toyo Proxes.
Have had many different drops with previous trucks. But This one is by far the best.
At this point I wouldn't use any other kit.
