Re: Years with Drops
The wheels are stock rallies that came off of a 1982 Chevy Blazer 2wheel drive. I believe they are 15X8 because they fill up the tire pretty good. I would like to put the 295 50 because it would look alot wider than the 275. Im going to buy some used ones to see if i like the ride and the look before I buy the new ones.

I am pretty certain that those are Boyd Coddington Smoothy II's. Awesome wheels- seen a few sets on F-bodies.
Where are all the NBS Yukon/Suburban guys?

Nice truck! What backspacing is on those rims? I have a set of 22's and I want to run a 4/6 but my backspacing is +18mm.
Thanks!

thanks man, that 2/4 drop wouldn't look the same without those tall tires. a smaller tire would need more drop IMO

Re: Years with Drops
Why does 98GMAGB's 3/4 on page 2 look just as low as 96THEBOSSGRNCHV's 4/6 on page 8. Is it the wheels and tires? What am I missing. Im new at this and I am looking to drop my 88 Silverado.

Re: Years with Drops

UPDATE:
When I took this pic I had not driven the truck yet I had just finished the drop. When I finally got a chance to drive it 1. The drive shaft rubbed the underside of the body 2. the rear end was about 1/4" from the frame (and did not want to cut up the truck). So this is how it looks now.
I took the flip off and bought Bellteck 4" drop leafs and in the front I took off the 3" drop spring and left the 2" spindles.
So now its a 4/2 drop. I loved the way it looked in the first pic but I really dont want to cut up the truck. I very happy with the ride.

haha, yeah i had to checkout what you was referring to, the pic you are talking about is his signature (which is a resent pic of his truck) his truck is bagged now, his original 3/4 pic was on 15" rims and doesn't even load up anymore, just send me a pm if you need any pics of any drop and rims sizes
