Overall look of the truck motor
Yellow top on the the drivers side (IE battery number 2)
Red Top on the passenger side (IE primary battery)
Battery Isolator
Left Terminal - Charge wire to number 1 battery, voltage sense wire, and excitation wire.
Top Terminal - Excitation wire
Bottom Terminal - Alternator (only thing I didn't upgrade)
Right terminal - Secondary Battery

Battery isolator. I speparates the batteries from each other electrically, and charges them.

how did you mount the battery on the driver side... on mine theres a vacuum canister that i would think would be in the way

You'll need to look under the hood of a Vortec truck as they use a different charcoal canister and have a battery tray where the TBI can sits.

there is a bracket for the 2nd one and the fuel evap can has to be moved elsewhere but since i built my new motor i did away with it completely just capped the tube going back to the tank

I have a dual battery tray for a 92. I'll pull it out this weekend and get the part# for you guys. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my canister too.
