Installing a steering column from a 1992 c1500 chevy into a 1986 K5 Blazer
For anyone that owns a ''70-'80's Chevy they have probably ran into the loose steering column problem. This is not just annoying but it's down right deadly. I got got a column from a 1992 c1500 (2 wheel drive). These columns are the same size the only differences is the size of the plate that bolts the dash to the column and the plate that seals the firewall will have to be changed out.

Adam, dont mean to steal your thunder here, but here are some related articles to the column wobble problem that plagues every GM vehicle produced since the 70s with a tilt column. thought they might be helpful to someone in a similar situation to yours.

I'll go ahead and post these links in the article to give people more of a option.
I still need to finish the column...if I have time this weekend I'll finish it.
