Cruise Controll 03+ classic
Ok first off, this is my first time posting a tech artical so keep that in mind, I'm not an expert so don't hold me responsible if you mess everything up. I would also like to thank the poster of this thread Click here. You can find the diagram about how to splice in the wires there.

Ok so this will only work with 03+ silverados with drive by wire (no v6). If you have a throttle cable this will not work.

With that out of the way, some of the trucks do not have the connector and you will have to splice into it see link above. I was lucky enough to have that connector, seen in the seccond picture. My truck is a 03 scsb with WT I think, I have rubber floors crank windows etc...

So first I started by pulling off the dash bezel, then you need to remove the bolts that hold on the plastic around the collum, there are supposed to be screws but mine dind't have any, it just unclipped. It is a little tricky and you have to be careful to not break anything, you also have to remove the tilt lever, it just pulls streght out (that was the hardest part to figure out for me). After you remove those pieces it should look like this.

Remove the two screws holding the old stalk on. (two red circles, notice how I have the torques bit in the bottom, just use a 6mm wrench to take that one out.) Make shore before you remove anything that the key is off, and or battery is disconnected, you may set off the sir light if you don't do this. Make shore before you turn the key again everything is hooked up and bolted up.

The whole unit should just come out, and then you put your new cruise one in, connect all the wires and put it back together. Here is the connector that the curise part pluggs into, if you don't have it you have to folow the diagram posted above.

Heres the finished product.
