Re: Ultimate RPO Database
lol i forgot what code it was but i saw a hood delete code in there. i wonder how many trucks were built with the hood delete option??

i have the RPO code U63 it says 9 speacker sound. my truck NEVER had more then 2 speckers in the dash. it looks like the dealer got ripped there lol.

all motors will tell you what they need you just have to learn to speak their language.

Re: Ultimate RPO Database
I have some list that came with my truck. Might have something to do with my truck supposedly being ordered. The RPO for the tranny is "MT1" with a descriptor saying "4 SPD. AUTO. R2". I know the MT1 is a 4L80E but does the R2 part mean anything?
This came from another site: MT1 -- TRANSMISSION, AUTO 4 SPD, HMD, THM R2 (4L80-E)
No clue what HMD is either. Geez.
'98 K2500 ECLB Silverado, 7.4L Vortec, 4L80E, G80-4.10, 4" Rancho, 33X12.50 Pro Comp A/T's, 17" Extreme Alloys

They drew first blood....not me....

Re: Ultimate RPO Database
Very Informative info I thought I had an open Diff but yeah a G80.
The only thing I couldn't find was my tranny Im pretty sure its a 700R considering its a 92 and they started putting the 4L60-E in around 93-94 idk though
This is what I got for my tranny
MX0 16407 P MTC M MERCHANDISED TRANS AUTO PROVISIONS, O/D
and only 5 codes I couldn't find
MD8
QIY
XGM
YGM
ZGM
My guess is some dealership crap
I also found out my truck was built on a Monday.

Re: Ultimate RPO Database
Ok, I'm bringing this back up cause I need help decoding the codes!

I have an 82D interior code. This list has three separate listings. Can someone help me decipher these? My interior is two toned and the lighter color looks like it is a faint blue. Is it actually considered gray? I am trying to duplicate the color to paint or dye the vinyl. It is an 88 C1500 Silverado

This list says:
CLOTH, MED DK GRAY (D) (91)
CLOTH, GRAY (D) (97) OPEL
CLOTH, MID ANTHRACITE (D)(05) BEDFORD
88' Peterbilt 383SS
383 stroker 325 hp
MAACO paint
Lots of cash, blood, sweat and new swear words
