anybody know a price?
Today i replaced the steering shafts in my truck, 03' silverado 1500 Z71 w/4.8L. well, i tried to make sure i kept the steering wheel in the same place so the clock spring wouldnt get messed up. so i got to the last bolt which was on the upper steering shaft and when i went to get it connected i hit the steering wheel and it spun like crazy. so i turned it a few times in the other direction and i hooked everything back up. i went to turn and i heard a snap, then my "service air bag" came on. so i pulled out the old clock spring and sure enough it snapped. so basically i was wondering if anyone knows about how much a new clockspring is. i know i couldve just asked that but i thought id share the whole story anyways. Thanks in advance.
