Re: 98 350 No Start Issues.
Problem with a code for cam/crank offset is, it is already out of whack because I changed the oil pump a while back put it back on my marks but the code still comes up so I just have to be a little off, but my scan tool isn't good enough to do the offset reading so all I know is I already had that code so it doesn't help.
Just turned 100k a coupla weeks ago.
Got a compression tester tonight so I will get numbers in the morning.
Kinda hoping its the crank sensor.

Re: 98 350 No Start Issues.
Also is there any "cheap" laptop based scan tools that I can buy? I don't mean like 50 bucks by cheap I mean just not thousands.

Re: 98 350 No Start Issues.
Compression is:
160, 175
178, 147
146, 93
178, 120
FRONT OF
ENGNE
I Am thinking that I somehow flooded the engine and dried the rings out.
What happens when the spiders on these trucks go bad and what is the fuel pressure supposed to be at?

So are we getting spark? Are the plugs wet?
Only three things for it to run and I think you are getting air in right?

Re: 98 350 No Start Issues.
your fuel pressure is good if its at 65 psi. I believe its supposed to be at 60 psi or above for it to even start.
