Re: popping issue from driver side

I just rebuilt my front end and had the same problem. Turns out the shock mounts were a little lose. You have to tighten them up really strong. See if that helps?

I tryed to tighten the shocks they want tighten no more then they are the one on the the driver side is higher then the other could that be a bad shock? Do bad or loose shock make a popping sound?

mine popped and rattled a lot until I tightened them up, tighten ALL 4, tops and bottoms.. the sound may not be coming from where you think it is??

You can feel it no the driver side I thinks it's the shock cause it won't tighten on the top

Re: popping issue from driver side

I layed on the garage floor and had my son gently rock the bumper, I could hear it clicking, and could see the upper shock bolt moving slightly.. if it won't tighten it might be stripped or rusted, try replacing the bolt and nut and use loctite.. it makes a lot of difference in the ride quality.
