i have a black & decker CD9602..... i love it. its great for woodwork and last a long time, but for drilling metal and sanding it dies after 10mins... but then again so will every cordless.

Re: Cordless Drills.....
I agree on the 18v DeWalt XRP. I just got a new kit for Christmas to replacae my 11 year DeWalt Drill & Saw (OK, not replace in addition to). My original batteries started failing about 3 years ago. So I bought 2 new ones a year or so ago. Still kept the old ones even though reduced run time. Got the new kit for Christmas. Just bought a Right Angle w/ 2 more batteries. I'm up to 8, w/ 6 of them being almost new.

I have drill, hammerdrill, impact driver, cut-off tool, 5 3/8" saw, 6 1/2" saw, recriprocating saw, right-angle drill, and finally the flashlight. All work well. I've used a few different Craftsman, they are super slow compared to my DeWalts and a lot shorter battery life.

I have had my 18V Black and Decker for about 5 years and it hasn't let me down yet.

Craftsman 19.2 and love and abuse it. When and if it even needs replacing I'm going to get the new 20V Lithium.

If you go with the 19.2 they have a TON of stuff that runs off of them.

I also have a Milwaukee 18v. Best damn cordless drill I have ever had. I can break 1/2 drill bits and twist off sheet metal screws with it. If you have weak wrists and forearms, do not get a Milwaukee. I have had mine for over 5 years and have used it and abused it.

I've got an 18v. When it wears out, I'm buying a 19.2.
