New toys, a few local FSC's and more!
First off, I scored a 3.5 electric parts washer for free from a guy on the same forum I got the sandblasting cabinet from!

My wife is a certified yard sale junkie. Her mom used to take her and her sister when they were little every Saturday and Kat has never really stopped. You guys think I find good deals on stuff, I'm just a rookie. Most of the furninshing in our house have come from yard sales with a few exceptions but you would never know it. Some of the guys that have been over can probably chime in on that. Normally for me it's just an excuse to drive the Chevelle around and spend time with her.

Any way, she hasnt been able to go for a while with everything going on so this past Sat we went out for a little bit and hit a few before we started getting ready for a little Birthday shindig at the house.

Spooted a few new FSC's in the neighboorhood. A real nice K5 on my street that just moved in and a big Burban a few streets over. I'll be printing out some of my invitations shortly.

The best part of the little trip was that we stopped at a guys house that had the driveway full of old tools. My kind of yard sale! Very cool old hot rodder. Just finished his 53 BelAir. Still had the factory suicide knob. The grille is a different color because in sanding it he found that it was copper under the chrome so he sprayed it with clear and left it like that. He told me to come back whenever I wanted to hang out and see if I wanted any more of his other tools.

I picked up an old variable speed drill press from him for $25!! He wasnt even sure how old it actually was, any one have one like it or any info? It has a Craftsman motor on it but I dont know if it's the way it came originally.

Yeah, I remember seeing that K5 on the way in. Looked good from the road. And I think you're right, that Burban might give Jerry a run for his money

I also got the green light for a new(to me) bike, but I think that was more towards "Do whatever you want"...and I'm not falling for that trickery.....again.

Got some inf oon the drill press. Seems to be early 40's from what I have found so far. Need to clean it up some and see if I can find a model number or serial number.
