Also , if it is still operational , check to see how much play is in the plow A frame , if it is a pro plow , which it looks to be , A frames and sector's are expensive if they need replacing , check for any leaks also.

the mount and wiring is for my truck so i know that will fit. As for checking the play in the a frame...how would you go about doing it correctly?

Did you end up finding something? I have a line one a Western UniMount if you're interested. Unfortunately, it's just the plow, no wiring or mount.

Re: Any body plow snow?

You guys are all getting good deals from where I sit.

I took my old "minute mount" fisher plow off my 89 this year and plan to leave it in my garage for the next couple years (going away). It's in good shape, but nothing special. Engine driven pump and cable controller in the cab. She's due for her periodic cleaning, rust treatment and repaint:

I've already had one offer of 2000 and a second of 2500.

And I'm not even selling it! This was a couple people just talking about my truck and word getting around.

Plows are really expensive 'round these parts.....I got lucky and paid 3500 for the truck and plow as a package....

The Fisher minute mount plows are a great piece , I personally like the trip edge design , that one looks like it is in good shape , the mount is good looking also , it would be a steal at $2500 IMHO (If it was for sale....LOL)

Plows are a funny animal to me , most don't realize what a "good deal" is until they are spending more than they paid for the "good deal" they got to make it work with their truck or fix what the previous owner didn't tell them was wrong.

Just my .02

Nope:

.

Minute Mount.

Altered the cradle so the entire plowing load is not carried by the front frame horns and crossmember...

anyways, end what has become a hijack.
