Re: Hey Chuggs
I'll see what I can come up with for early next week. Right now, I'm just trying to get through this week so that I can enjoy Carlisle on Saturday.

I don't blame ya there brother. I wish Carlisle wasn't over 800 miles from me, or I'd be going.

We did, and he was. Everytime we have one, someone always says "Let's not wait as long as we did before to do the next one." Yet it always happens.

I haven't even started gathering pics yet, so we're good. But thanks for the concern. I've just been reluctant to start new contests for two reasons -- 1) lack of workable material and 2) lack of interest. Everyone chimes in "Yeah, I want to play!" but when it comes time to gather entries, I'm scraping to get a dozen... Issue #1 I should be able to fix if I put the effort into it. But without justification through Issue #2, it's just not worth it.

Would it be of any benefit if we take the contest emphasis out of it? Maybe every now and then I'll just throw a thread up there with new material to work from. Then it's more of a work at your own pace, no pressure environment where I don't have to hassle with setting up the voting. People can post up responses to the thread with as many edits as they want, hosted from their own personal accounts...

If it gains more interest than the contests have, then I'm all for it. I know you've kept stretching the deadlines on them before to try and get more entries. Even votes are slim. On a forum with almost 94K members, 58 votes in a week is ridiculous. I guess this is just a low traffic area of the site or something, but I would say that's the number one reason there is lacking interest to actually complete an edit. Either way, I've submitted one for the last two contests, and I'll be up for whatever you come up with again.
