Make this truck sick! *Contest*

Alright, here is the deal. This is our shops drag truck. I want to make some shirts for the guys at work for x-mas and I need your guys' help. Do whatever you want to this immage to make it look sick! Just remember, this is going to have to be able to be printed on a shirt. I was thinking it would look really cool if it was tooned with the ass up in the air a little and smoke shooting out of the hood stack. Do what you want though. Just remember it is going on a shirt. Let me know if you want me to try to get more pics, I know these arn't great, and I will try. It is getting colder and crappier out so the truck doesn't see daylight much anymore. The next nice day I can try to get it out and get some better lighting pics. Thanks guys and have fun!

Wow, I just looked at the pics for the first time, I really over exposed a few!

Anyway, I will handle the shirt design, just looking for you guys to have fun with the immage. Whatever you guys come up with will be a large immage for the back of the shirt.

I will try. It has been raining a ton lately, and it isn't exactly a daily driver. I am curious, what does it matter what is behind it? I would think all of the background would be gone anyway and just the truck be left in the picture. Like your sig. Is that easier to do with a different background?

Alright, I pulled the truck outside and it is up against a storage building and waiting for the sun to get a little higher so that it has better light on it. Looks like it is going to be a beautiful, cloudless day. The only thing that is going to be behind it will be brown garage doors.

IMO I'd ditch those hood pins for aerocatch latches...

Not going for looks. Function>Form. The entire hood, and entire truck for that matter, is gutted to shave weight. These do the trick just fine.

Some pictures with some better lighting. I would think it wouldn't take much to do the minor things like getting rid of the shadow on the door and blacking out the windows so there isn't bad reflection and the track numbers in yellow. Also, I know nothing about photoshop, but you guys should be able to cut out the background easy enough right? That is what I want. I have in mind a tuned versioin of the truck with only the truck, no background, to put on the back of a sweatshirt.

Is anyone even thinking of giving this a shot? I don't care what you do to it! Just because it isn't what I have in mind doesn't mean it won't look sweet and either end up getting used or at least give others some ideas!

Hey, sweet truck man! Where do you guys race at? I'm from Waterloo and I would love to come watch your guys.

A couple of questions I have.

1. Whats the team name? Do you have a specific logo already that you would like put in the image?

2. Do you guys have some kind of motto or a phrase you would like on the image?

We are Empire Diesel Performance out of Dubuque. We just bought the truck back from a guy because of a bad deal, basicly he was focking the truck up. We will run it at cordova, cederfalls, earlville and anywhere that is having a big diesel event. Right now all I want is the truck picture played with. I will worry about adding our name later.

well here is a shot...maybe going for the red white and blue theme... its hard to "cartoon" a vehicle with a computer...atleast for me...but this gives it a sort of a different look...just a rough idea here i can finalize things too

one other thing...wtf is there a procharger sticker on the front of it for??? its a diesel right

Yes it is a diesel, with a big ass supergharger and a big ass turbo to match! No more turbo lag!
