Cool Howdy from TX! Again...
Yup... It's been a few years since I was involved in the full-size GM stuff (had a 96 4x4 Suburban), but now I'm back again.

I've really needed a pick-up for quite some time now, so I bit the bullet and sold my 99 TransAm and after looking for a few weeks I bought a 2WD 4.8L 2003 Silverado RCSB today.

I'm the second owner and the truck just rolled over 100K. I have plenty of experience from these Gen III engines, since I've owned LS1 F-bodies all the time for the past 6 years. A couple of them had well over 100K miles, so the miles on the truck don't scare me at all.

Especially since I think I got a pretty good deal on it.

The truck is in pretty good condition with just a few scratches here and there. Most of the will probably buff off, too.

I've already been shopping for all kinds of stuff for it, but we'll see.

Pics were taken with my phone so they are not the best... Once I get some time, I'll update my sig with better pics.

Nice truck and welcome back then from West Texas! I use to live in Dallas and hell miss it alot! Not a whole lot to do down here, we have to drive 5 hours to do anything like six flags for my kids!

Re: Howdy from TX! Again...
Thanks, guys!

Surprising that there are so many truck enthusiasts in Texas, huh?

So far I like the truck a lot. I've actually never owned a pick-up before. I've got a lot of work lined up for it already.
