another guy from alabama 94 k1500
whats up guys? just thought id say hi! my name is matt, i live in a small town called demopolis, in alabama but im origionally born and raised in california. i have a 94 k1500 single cab short bed. i bought about a year ago i guess. its basically all stock but since i got it, i replaced the dist, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, put 285s on it, raised the t bars, put 2" blocks on the rear, i JUST got done changin the fluid in the rear end, put the tbi spacer on (took ten min tops lol) and have a open air filter. future plans are to get some full length headers, maybe a intake mani, the injector spacer is in the mail somewhere (should be here tmw) i want to do 6' lift, 3" body lift and change the gears out.. only pics i have right now...

Doesn't look bad from what I can see. I don't see any rust, which is always a good sign. I wish I could say the same about my GMC.
Welcome to the site.

Re: another guy from alabama 94 k1500
from what ive had torn down there isnt any rust. theres a little surface rust on the hitch where the paint chipped off but im plannin on fixing that. it has 202k on it. Brand new tranny (not even 1000 miles).. i just changed the rear end fluid tonight at the station and it looked like it hasnt been changed since the truck was built.. it was nasty..did the tbi spacer and my brother took my truck out (since i cant leave the fire station) and he said that it felt a lot faster. crazy how a lil spacer does that. i wanna do headers, low profile black tool box, 3" body lift and rhino line front and rear bumpers here in the near future

Welcome! Nice lookin truck you have. Good to see another Alabama guy on here, too. There's several of us from Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Strangely, not many from Birmingham that I've seen.

Did you go to the LSU game yesterday? If so, just how intense was it?
