I have a 1988 Silverado Reg cab full 8' bed. Light Tan with dark brown color. Swapped out bench seat for two chevy van captain chair bucket seats.
It was my father's truck he bought brand new in 1988. Its still an awesome truck although needs a little TLC:
Rust and dents on the bed
A/C condenser has a leak (so no A/C)
Cruise control doesn't work anymore
Both doors have rust on the bottom and cab corners have some rust
Passenger handle doesn't open from outside but inside opens
Other than those issues I'm working on, it's an AWESOME TRUCK!
238,000 miles on it. New tranny at about 150K. Engine has never needed repair or work below the valve covers!
