How to become a FSC supporting member
If you have ever wanted to help show your support for FSC, now you can.
Supporting members that give a minimun amount will be moved into a separate usergroup that has the following:
higher PM limit
upload picture capability (reg. members don't)
you username changes color to show you supported
...it's not alot but better than a poke in the eye
Thanks again for your help.
Go here for donations.

Re: How to become a FSC supporting member
I thought the original gold members (there were only a few of us) were going to be grandfathered in?

Re: How to become a FSC supporting member
ok guys and gals, I just got back into town
what is the money to be used for? The idea I had was this. I'm looking for ways to get members to have some involvement and desire to make this site grow.
What I thought about doing was this, paying members for event pictures and technical articles.
When you go to a event, if you take quality pictures then and want to submit them to the site, FSC will pay you $25.00 for your time. It's not much but maybe it's some gas money. We can only pay one person so if several took pictures then we'll pay the one with the most pics.
Technical articles, if you do a modification and would like to submit a write up with pictures to FSC, we'll pay you $25.00 for it. Granted, it must be approved by the staff as a worthy mod.
It's not alot of money but better than nothing. And if the members are donating then in fact you yourself are making sure that the site will grow because of the addition of the event coverage and tech. articles.
We're still working on the layouts for the events and tech. articles so it's not ready just yet.
I will be changing everybody's colors here in just a few.

What a great idea to make FSC better. I think it will bring more attention to these helpful areas!

so what you're saying is every time chevelle girl goes to a show, she'll get paid she always comes up with more pics from an event then 10 magazines
i'm heading over there now. i'd say the free advice and entertainment on long nights is well worth it.
edit: and i also think 'badkelly' would look groovy in urine yellow instead of the usual snow white
