The 2012 GMC Terrain get several small changes but they were pretty big, this includes the E85 flex-fuel capability for the 2.4 liter four cylinder. Performance The 2012 GMC Terrain comes standard with a 2.4 liter four cylinder that is capable of putting out 182ho and 172 lb-ft of torque giving it a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds and a fuel capacity of 22 mpg city/32 mpg highway. The SLE-2 and SLT models get the option of a 3.0 liter V6 that puts out 264hp and 222 lb-ft of torque. Also standard is front wheel drie and a six speed automatic transmission.
