THE BIG RULES: Violation of these rules is grounds for IMMEDIATE banning of your account. If you think we're kidding, think again.

  • No profanity in subject lines or signatures.
  • No spamming or commercial solicitation of any kind. Any such messages will be removed at the discretion of either a forum moderator or administrator. Selling of individual items is permissible by a private owner in our Classifieds forums, however selling multiple items of the same product is considered a commercial post and may be removed at the discretion of moderators and/or staff. Group buy topics maybe posted in the Group Purchase forum as long as the company conducting the group buy is a PV on FullsizeChevy.com, or has the aproval of FullsizeChevy.com staff.   • No flaming of other members to incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument. ANY personal attacks or name calling will get you banned.
  • No linking or posting of pornographic or objectionable material. This goes for Avatars and Signatures: the same rules that apply to your posts apply to your signatures and avatars. Please keep this in mind when selecting your avatar or signature.
  • Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself.
  • Do not discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any illegal activity on the forums. Linking to locations that deal with any such activity are also forbidden.
  • Posting under secondary usernames or alias user names other than your main account for the purpose of arguing, degrading or belittling other readers is grounds for having your posting privileges revoked.
  • You must have a valid e-mail account in your profile so you can be reached by a forum moderator or administrator.
  • No signatures with more than three lines total, this includes an image in your signature.
  • No Advertising or endorsments of commerical sites
  • Threads/replies promoting illicit drugs/narcotics will not be allowed.
  • "Trolling", or makings posts with the sole intention of creating problems on the forums is obviously against the forum guidelines. This includes registering an alternate ID for the sole purpose of creating problems on the forums. "Troll ID's" will be locked immediately and permanently, and can be locked without notification to the offender.

Here are the "Do's" and "Don'ts" of addressing your concerns to moderators or administrators:

"Do" be civil and polite. Bring up your concerns in a mature and respectful manner. If you are contacting us because you violated forum guidelines, be adult enough to admit your mistake. If your ID has been locked for some reason, talking politely to us about it in private, via e-mail or private message, can get your ID reinstated in many cases.

"Do Not" and we mean Do Not attempt to come on with a different User ID. All this will do is get your new ID banned and prevent you from enjoying the forums in the future.

"Do not" be derogatory or insulting towards us. You will not get what you want by name calling or bashing us.

All we ask is that you treat us the way you would want us to treat you. If you treat us with respect, we will do the same for you.

These are here to help you (and others) have an enjoyable experience here.

  • Respect both forum moderators and administrators. It is a thankless job that we do, and cleaning up other people's messes is never fun.
  • Try to post to the forum that is most appropriate for the topic being presented.
  • No cross-posting. (see spamming above)
  • Respect the privacy of other members and individuals. Do not post personal information about them (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, etc.)
  • No buying, selling, or trading anywhere outside of the Classified Forum.

Signature Avatar and User Title rules:

  • Only 3 lines of text total, including mods and links, are permitted.
  • Signature can not be bigger then 500x200 pixels.
  • No vulgarity, nudity or women/men showing too much in sigs, avatars or user titles. gif files are only permitted as avatars.
  • Administrators discretion is final.
  • Thank you for your cooperation.

If you violate forum guidelines, in most cases, you can expect the following action from the moderators/administrators:

  1. First offense- warning via private message, e-mail, and/or moderator reply in the offending thread
  2. Second offense- 7-day lock of your ID
  3. Third offense- longer ID locks, possibly permanent

Please realize that the nature of the offense will determine the action to be taken. If the violation is extreme enough, or has been repeated enough times in the past, a member can have his/her ID locked without a warning.

Moderators and administrators frequently review forum messages for those that are in violation of FullsizeChevy.com rules. Any messages found to be in violation may be deleted without warning or explanation. FullsizeChevy.com also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

Threads or replies that do not comply with our guidelines may be locked, edited, or deleted, depending on the nature of the offense. We will make every effort to state why such action was taken via private message, e-mail, and/or moderator reply in the offending thread. For this reason, we ask that you check your private messages often. You can find out whether or not you have received any private messages by logging into your user CP. You can set your options so that the board notifies you when you have received a private message, if you so desire.

There are going to be topics and discussions that will have heated debates. Please think before you post and re-read what you type before you post it. Keep your comments limited to the debate at hand and not make this a personal issue between you and another reader. There is tremendous diversity in age, race, gender, language, location (worldwide) and more here and there will be a lot of varying opinions on different subjects. We're all human beings and we we're all drawn to this site because we have a common bond as truck enthusiasts.

Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, it is impossible for FullsizeChevy.com to review all messages posted. Please remember that FullsizeChevy.com does not monitor the contents of posted messages and are not responsible for any messages posted.
