If you are a hotroder that’s tired of not being able to take the family to shows, cruise-ins or if your just a bad ass mom that wants a kick ass hotrod to haul the kids to their games. You can fit the gear for the whole team in this thing and still sit 6 people comfortably. This is for anyone that wants to be different, don’t follow the rules and just wants a badass functional hotrod.
This 1970 suburban is just what you need. This truck is completely badass I’ll start from the top down. The body is presentable and paint still looks good and the body is laser straight, has the gas door frenched in from a newer model but it does have a few bubbles around the rear wheel wells and the notion of the tailgate. These are not to bad and can be easily repaired. The frame floors and roof are solid. Truck has good glass all the way around with a new windshield. All chrome and bright work looks good.
All electronics work minus the gas gauge sure it’s something simple and we will probably fix it before it leaves. Powering the land yacht is a 383 Stroker with a forged bottom end has about 6500 miles on it and makes ballpark 425hp. The th400 is newly rebuilt and functions as it should the rear end is solid no noise but I’m unsure of the gear ratio. This suburban does have rear air but none in the front.
The interior is all new from carpet to headliner.
The suspension in the front was taken from a 73-87 c10 and has disc brakes, 3″ drop spindles, new shocks, sway bar, wear parts and airlift dominator 2600lb bags. The rear is notched, has 2″lowering blocks, new shocks, shock relocators, adjustable pan hard bar and dominator 2600lb bags. Powered by a basic manifold with FBSS control. 2 compressors and a 5 gallon tank hidden underneath.
The wheels are new as well US MAG Hustlers 22×9 fronts and 22×11 rears with a killer lip.
