  • i appreciate you getting back to me.... thanks man.....

last question.... i have honestly been looking into getting a watts link to take place of the panhard... did the watts make a big difference with the lateral shift?
I did the same with the front hangers. I just bought some stock ones from a junkyard and bolted them back on. As for the pinion angle. There are variables that dictate your pinion angle, Such as wheels size, tire size, etc. As far as I remember the leaf spring perch is on the top of the axle on these trucks and the link bars go under the axle. So you will probably need some sort of axle saddle/flip kit to get the link bars to fit.

Extensive should have supplied these with your kit. If not call extensive and as for Matt Baker. He is a pretty helpful guy and has worked for a few pick mail order companies.
hey man, im running an extensive 2 link... im sure we have talked in the past.. i finally got a new ride so i took my silvy off the road and started the rebuild yesterday... i have a few questions if you dont mind me buggin you... i followed your threads and build and saw how good of a job you did with yours...

anyway... i originally had a 2/4 static drop on the truck, so the leaf perches closest to the cab are dropped down a bit... do you know if i can just use them when i bolt on the new link bars, or do i have to go back to the stock ones? and then also, my second question is.... do i have to worry about the pinion angle when i am just unbolting the stock leafs and installing the link bars? it may sound like a stupid question, but i think that i have confused myself and my pops too lol....
