I'll be taking pics tonight in a bar venue of my friends' band during a local arts fest. Anyone have experience with this and have any tips for me? I'm shooting with a Canon XSi and kit lens.
All the time's I've shot have unfortunately been from pretty far away. My experience ends up having been the quicker the shutter the better, since people are dynamic.
