My injector issue in my racetruck turned out to be my injector plug adapters causing problems after 3 years. So Im ditching the adapters and I'll be crimping on new pins onto the wires and swapping to ev6 connectors so I don't have to use adapters. And I'm using this opportunity to go back to stock nbs fuel rails and ditch the vette filter.

I finally got around to respraying my dash pad in the daily. The paint was peeling off bad, I pressure washed off all the old **** and went back with SEM classic coat. In a matter of 10 minutes the **** is unscratchable. Great stuff. I've used it many times. Now I just need to try to get the paint off my bezel (which is way more stubborn) and repaint that too, and the interior will be near perfect.

Quick update: on the daily I installed Monroe factory replacement senstrac shocks up front. #37149. On the back I used some shocks for a Plymouth voyager van and I just changed the bushings in them to fit the chevy truck bolts. They were the perfect length. #37065 and $11 a piece from rockauto wholesale closeout lol.

The truck rides extremely nice. No exaggeration here it's like driving a stock truck. It's nice. I love it

On the racetruck I went ahead and cut a stock nbs fuel rail crossover, test fitted, and handed off to a buddy to have the 6an fittings tig welded onto it. Then when I get it back all I have to do is test fit again, measure, and make a short piece of braided line and throw it together.

I've also started changing my injector plugs to ev6 but pulling out and cutting off the factory pins on the wire and crimping on new pins and snapping them into the new connectors. I'm using a $40 kit from painless and a $30 crimp tool specifically for Delphi connectors from Amazon. The tool works really well. Perfect crimp every time. Tonight I only have time to do the cutting and changed a couple connectors. I'll do the rest tomorrow. I also randomly decided to Polish the rails. Came out pretty sweet tho.

So I did a thing. Changed upper and lower balljoints and inner and outer tie rods, and sway bar end links on the daily, and threw on my new 2" street edge spindles to bring it down to 3/7.

Well I may have gone too far.....lol

First order of business now, raise that Y pipe. It scrapes more than I'd like.

Currently my top bumper cap and tailgate for my single cab are at the painter. Also I got my 20s back from machining and powdercoat and I'm getting the caps for them painted to match. So there's gonna be some big changes here soon.

Both trucks are looking great!!. Love the new wheels for the rcsb.

What's racetruck running in the 1/4 now? Just got mine tuned after the cam and made 305HP 310lbft torque with a TSP 220r cam , DIY intake and LTs. Pretty happy with that. Thinking of picking up a circle D 3200 this weekend.

Definitely time for an update on both trucks.

The daily:

I added fog lights

Lil in traffic shot

The Racetruck:

Got me some wheels for shows (still keeping the race wheel setup)

Also got a new console with rear a/c (came stock with jumpseat, sold that months ago, been having empty space there) :

Yup those wheels are pure sex.... loving both sets.

How are liking the intake swap still? I picked up and intake and flex fuel injectors a couple weeks ago off a nnbs. Do you think there are gains to be had by swapping it even with the stock truck heads? I'm probably just going to go the x link and LS2 90MM throttle body.

What did she end up doing in the quarter? Also what did these wheels look like before decladded? Have any idea on the weight of these ? I'm looking to pick up a couple wheels for the front that are a bit lighter than the SS ones.
