New side post adapters and cleaned up the wiring. A lot better!


Re-routed and cleaned up the CB wiring.

I cut the trailer plug bracket off my hitch then drilled a hole in the bumper and stuck it in there, didn't even need to buy a new one.
Why does your CB wiring go down the frame, looks like its going under the cab?
That crimp on the positive end looks like it needs re-done, I see bare wire there.

Yeah, I could've done that, but I like having the option of direct plug in or using an adapter plug. The person who owned the truck before me had a CB in it and that's how they routed it. It was worse, but I tried to make it look a little cleaner. I use the truck on-road and off-road, but I'm trying to clean the engine bay up little by little. Yeah, I'm putting new ends on both sides, solder and heat shrink. One of the next things I'm doing once it warms up a little bit and I can get to the garage.
