This is by no means a complete list. It's a good start though! There were many options offered over the years. Some of these codes were different for various years, and changed over the years too. I will be adding to this list as I get more info.

I make no claims that they are 100% accurate in every way.

The "bodystyle" was the same from 73-87 (88-91) as fastr68 mentioned. Yes, the front ends changed around...but so has every other vehicle that has been made for more than 1 year. Camaro's (all 4 generations), Firebirds (all four generations), Mustangs, Cuda's, Challengers, etc...all ran numerous years, while changing slightly every year...but they are still considered the same "bodystyle". :) :)

Re: Rpo Codes 1973 - 1987

the clip changed in 81, and yes, 73-87 is one body style, i can take the front clip off a 87 and put it on a 73 with no problemo, and everything will line up.....and 88 is when the body style changed

Re: Rpo Codes 1973 - 1987

This may be a dumb question, but where do I find my codes on a 73 C10. I looked in the glove box.
There should be a BIG blue and white sticker stuck to the inside of the glovebox. It may be gone, and if it is there's no way to find your RPOs unless you can find the build sheet, which might be in the bottom or back of the seat...possibly.

Glovebox Sticker...

Build Sheet - Could be anywhere under seat or carpet, in a door, etc...
