can pick these up from a friend for $200. 2 have minor pittting so i dont know if i should try and fix them or have them PC black

IMO, keep your $200. Chromed steel wheels just won't suit your truck, PC or paint will required getting the chrome off (or stripped enough for good adhesion).

Those come in 17"? 16's wont fit your 05, just FYI.

I wouldn't. It seems like chrome steelies rust easier than anything else, and living in a snowy area that's probably not the best way to go. Most steel wheels like that are only $80 or so a piece, so you aren't really saving that much, especially if you're getting them powder coated. You might as well just buy new ones in the right color/size/offset.
