GM Issues Airbag Sensor Recall Affecting 3.6 Million Vehicles

GM announced a voluntary recall for 3.64 million trucks and cars from the 2014-2017 years because of a software defect in the airbag sensing and diagnostic module. This module controls the airbag and pretensioner deployment and could interfere with the deployment of airbags in a collision.

Vehicles Affected:

2014-2017 Silverado
2014-2017 GMC Sierra
2015-2017 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Yukon XL
2015-2015 Silverado and Sierra HD
2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV
